Biography
I’ve completed a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Flinders University in 2017. This led to a Health Sciences Honours degree in Sports Nutrition and a PhD on ‘Low Energy Availability in Elite Female Athletes’, both also completed at Flinders University.
Alongside my studies, I have worked in professional sport at Adelaide Crows (AFL), providing corporate nutrition services and also worked as an academic tutor. Throughout my research, I’ve worked with a variety of different athletes including elite gymnasts, A-league women’s soccer players, national dancers, AFLW players, and elite and recreational runners. Post study, I’ve moved to Sydney for a job at NSWIS, working with mens hockey and canoe sprint athletes.
Currently besides providing dietetic services at AVOLVE, I am working with the Sydney Kings NBL, Sydney Flames WNBL, Wests Tigers NRL/NRLW and Sydney University Elite Athlete Program. In these roles, I provide individualised nutrition support and group education to complement other health and performance services provided.
An initial dietetics consult will provide you with individualised nutrition advice and strategies, taking into consideration your lifestyle, food preferences, body composition, activity levels and other influential factors. As an Accredited Sports Dietitian, I will take the time to get to know you and your personal goals, aiming to put together a realistic and achievable plan.
