Biography
My love for sports and exercise began at a young age, with some of my earliest memories being centered on playing as many different sports as possible. Even as a kid, I was always obsessed with the idea of being the fittest, fastest and strongest version of myself to help build confidence on the sporting field. This obsession stayed with me throughout school and it wasn’t long before I knew a career in health and fitness was always something I wanted to pursue.
At the earliest opportunity I jumped into a personal training career where I developed a soft spot for the big 3: squat, bench press and deadlift. This led me to working closer with powerlifting athletes, and from 2019 onwards I launched my career as an in-person and online powerlifting coach.
6 years of working in various gyms and coaching a broad range of athletes from the everyday strength enthusiast to national level powerlifters have accumulated into a coaching system that has one guarantee:
Athletes becoming the strongest version of themselves.
This system is shaped by my extensive coaching history, ongoing education & mentorship from some of the world’s best powerlifting coaches, as well as university studies in Health/ Movement Science and Podiatry.
On top of coaching I currently work as a sports podiatrist, focusing on pain and rehab management of the lower limb. My specialty in biomechanics branches into my role as a coach, helping athletes manage injuries and setbacks whilst continuing to improve their performance and optimising all areas of their training.
My vision is simple: to provide a coaching service that entails every aspect of your training, programming, recovery and rehabilitation needs.
This is where the dream of Avolve Performance began.
To build a community of like-minded people that will push themselves further than they’ve ever been before. Everyone deserves a facility that has every tool available to assure they become the strongest, fittest, most confident version of themselves.
You deserve a gym that is catered to you.
